Umm, what just happened? 830 achievment ...

I invite 2 friends over, Friend A has 1040 gamerscore in Gears 2, Friend B has (or had) 10 points in gears 2, i have 840 (not like that matters). We decide to pop in some gears 2 and play some horde mode, so i turn on my xbox with gears 2 already in, and it autosigns into friend A's account, the game loads up and friend B was using his custom yellow light control so he prefered to switch profiles instead of just handing over the controller. He does this and then me and my other friend join, we go into the game and start killing some hordes, and we kept hearing the ''bloop'' achievment unlocked sound, and noticed his screen was being spammed with achievments.Thinking it was just visual he opens the ingame dashboard and sure enough, he has 840 score in gears 2, even though he only had 10 before hand. He got achievments like Spice of death and hoarde the hoarde and suicide mercanary even though that was his first time actually playing the game. Friend A says he owes him money, and i sit there confused, so i come here to ask you all, wth just happened? Is this repeatable?Umm, what just happened? 830 achievment ...
One hell of a glitch then. However, I wouldn't be surprised if his gamerscore was reset if Microsoft finds out.Umm, what just happened? 830 achievment ...
What just happened is friend A revealed his or her true colors %26 is not a real friend. :D
Sounds like someone glitched achievements....be warned they are resetting peoples gamerscores for doing that.
not sure but i have heard people glitching the rank achievements in gears and MS are doing gamerscore resets not just for gears but your whole gamerscore i would watch out in case they reset him for something that was an accident

Or something to do with the fact that you had 840 points, he had 10, he gained 830. Did he just get all the achievements you had?

I doubt you get banned or get a point loss, it sounds like an accident. Unless of course you are lying to us but then this whole topic would be pointless, so that wouldn't make sense.
Switching profiles after and account has already auto-signed in is what made it happen. Even though it sounds like a coincidence I'm sure one of them knew it would happen, almost everyone knows it by now.

You can search it on youtube, I remember seeing it for the first Gears of War but decided it wasn't worth doing.
epic gears of war glitch. if you do it with the right people you can get all the achievements.DONT DO IT :)microsoft will find you...lmao

if u switch profiles while the game is loading (done in training for gears 2) all achievements and MP ranks are duplicated
I'm not going to do it, because I don't know anyone personally that has more achievement points than me. AnywayI don't want to lose the ones I have earned properly. However it is interesting, I'm going to watch that video.Is this what everyone has been doing for the past few months to get themselves in trouble?

I remember it in the first gears but assumed epic had fixed that in the 2nd....guess not :(

It sounds like person A and person B just used Vashn to get points. Vashn- I think they owe you money for doing all the work.
