Digital Extremes is taking care of the M ...

I just read the Ign article on Bioshock 2's MP. And i learned that 2K has hired another development team to take care of the MP, Digital Extremes. What does this mean? 2K will not be diverting any of their attention from their SP, which means the gam will in no way suffer from the addition of MP. So the uproar since the announcment of the MP addition can now be put to rest, as there is nothing to lose but a lot to potentially gain. Also, Digital Extremes has a fairly solid resume concerning MP games. So they aren't just getting a nothing team to throw an MP together.Games developed/co-developed PC* Epic Pinball - (1993)

Experience points will be earned during matches that will give players access to new weapons, Plasmids and Tonics.-Locations will include the Kashmir Restaurant and Mercury Suites, built from the ground up specifically for multiplayer.

Yup, it's great news. Digital Extremes did a pretty good job on the PS3 version of BioShock. They're also really good at multiplayer-only focused games. Dark Sector had crappy multiplayer, but that's because it was more of a single player game and multiplayer was kinda tacked on.Digital Extremes is taking care of the M ...
