oblivion problem (?)

So I was playing Oblivion the other day and the game froze. Now I thought 'whatever' since my xbox sounds like a jet taking off anyway. But that night I put Fallout in and played it for an hour or 2 and it worked like a charm. So then I played some Madden. Again, worked awesome. So this morning I decided to try Oblivion out again, and it still froze after about 10 minutes. I looked at the disk and there's not a scratch on it and the xbox seems to be working with other games. Does anyone know why this might be happening or any cures for this problem? Thanks.oblivion problem (?)
Wow.. Never heard of that problem before.. Try a Disc Cleaner, may not be a visible mark... Might be a ftware problem..oblivion problem (?)
Hold the A button while the game is booting up (until the logo has passed) to clear the Oblivion cache.See if that helps.
Try installing the game to your HDD.I think that may help

Whats the cache?
I think it might be your disc buddy. My Fight Night Round 3 did that brand new and at best buy he said, it might be worn out on the inside. SO who knows? I dont.
it is quick access memory of stuff that has been recently loaded. say if u walk inside a house and then walk straight back out, chances are there is no loading time. thats due to the cache
