you level your armor skill by getting wacked... The skills are improved by use of the skill :)Oblivion question?(Leveling up)

there is no fast way to level up armorer skill quickly at all. It just takes time that's all.

you are not too slow. It does not really matter what level are you in the game. You can even spend 50 hours or more and still at level 1 or so.
You aren't too late, and you aren't going too slow. I've got 33 hours logged and I'm on level 8 (and I honestly think I'm leveling fast after reading some posts about the game yesterday). What I would recommend is checking out the Oblivion forums board and post your question there. Do what I do and announce that you are a noob, and people will be less harsh when you ask basic questions.(I've played the game for about 70+ hours and I'm still learning basic stuff, lol)Rev
No, youre not slow. All ill say is enjoy the game the best you can and dont worry bout no lvl. If youre in a lvl rampage then go do some rough quests and so.
Leveling up isn't the best strategy because as your level gets higher, enemies get stronger.

maybe he enjoys a challenge. and the lvl dif. can be changed as well if things get nasty, but thats a bad thing to do, at least for me. :P
there are different methods to level up armourer:

1-Create a spell that disintegrates armour/weapon on self, thus damaging your armour and weapons. buy tonnes of hammers and repair your own gear, rinse repeat

2-Repair each and every piece of armour and weapon u see, if something dies in a cave with any armour and wep, pick up it, repair it and drop it

3-find a weak creature (one that doesnt do too much damage) and let it hit u over and over, this levels up the armour your currently wearing, restoration (which is good cause this is a DAMN SLOW skill to level) and armourer

Leveling up HURTS you in Oblivion.....really anti beneficial imo, sigh ..........*dreams about morrowind , but no, no fast levels for armorer sorry, and dont worry about your other level, you can beat the game at level 1 (youtube it if you dont belive me)
