Motion Sickness??

Whenever I play any of the Guitar Hero games I get really dizzy and nauseous, but I can play Rock Band for hours and not get sick. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else and why I get sick playing Guitar Hero and not RockbandMotion Sickness??
I happens to me something horrible, but I'm blind in my right eye so my depth perception is so messed up. Try some Dramamine (sp) though. It helps for a couple of hours. You can get it from almost any drug store. Motion Sickness??
sounds psychological
never heard about it for guitar hero, but there have been quite a few cases in half life 2 (mainly the hovercraft sequence) something about smaller peripheral vision

No it's physiological.

It's a sensation similar to velocitation. Have you ever run on a treadmill for an extended period of time and gotten off quickly? It's similar to that.

The good news is, for most people, the more you do it the more use to it you get. It's a type of exercise for the brain.

lol Well the more I play these games, the more sick I get. Of course my vision has worsened quite a bit in the past couple years to the point I'm almost completely blind in that eye. I think motion sickness is something that affects people differently.
nope never had that

[/QUOTE] As you've said your vision is worsening and you are blind in your right eye. It is different for different people, but I am guessing it is much worse for you with out stereoscopic vision. No depth perception, I am sure, is very disorienting sometimes.

Ah ok. Wow, you know a lot about the subject. Know of anything that would help my motion sickness?
I really don't know that much, but thanks.

Other than Dramamine, like you said, there isn't anything I know of. Unfortunately Dramamine only treats the symptoms, it doesn't fix the problem.

I wish there was something out there to fix this. It's a pain when trying to play FPS or Guitar Hero (which I can't play more than 1 minute of).
