max payne or the sequel?

hey guys I noticed that the max payne games are now on XBLA and im just wondering which one you guys prefer. Thanks!max payne or the sequel?
Definitely the first one for me. Second one just felt strangely old and been there, done that.

Probably the first game would be a better choice. The second game is great, but there are somethings that you may not understand if you had not played the first one. Both of these games are superb; can't go wrong with either choice really.
