Right now I am gaming on a Vizio 42in Plasma with 720p on a component cable. My friend thinks that there is a ''lag'' in the componant cables so he brought over his VGA cables. We hooked it up and yes the picture is nice, but its very grayish and washed out. He claimed I played better on Halo 3 with these cables but I don't think so. He also put up to the maximum Res which was 1950x1080 i think. I tried Gears 2 and while some of the HUD and weapon details seemed a bit better and finer, the colors were bland and dull. I mean my god on my componant cables in 720 the picture in Gears 2 is jaw dropping. But the arguement is he thinks that I have a very small ''lag'' in the response time between my HD componant cables and the TV. Is this true, I really don't think so. BTW he's used to gaming on a regular TV. Also, what is you guys preferences in cables for large HD TVs, i know HDMI is the bestWhich Cables are Best
