Yep, freezing like crazy after installing the Broken Steel add-on. It even went to the next level and now I am getting the Red Rings (general hardware failure). I am trying to get the system to boot so I can clear the cache myself.
Yeah, it freezes sometimes. Just wait for the next update which will be soon
I wrapped my box up snug in a towel let her sit running for 15 minutes, booted her right up, performed harddrive maintance and I have been playing for 45 minutes no problems. Obviously, my XP Maxed out again and other oddities like conversations are inaccessable and corpses are unsearchable. I will need to reinstall the update to see if it starts freezing again. Looks like Bethesda has put out another bad update.
I hope they fix it soon. It's hard to enjoy the game when you're constantly worried about the game crashing. As a result I haven't played Fallout 3 in days. Last time I played it I was just about to start Broken Steel but I'm going to wait until these problems are fixed before I play it.
Fallout 3 is a big game it will probally crash sometimes
