What cord does my brother need?

Please note that I know little about hardware despite being into video games, computers, and electronics (the few 'For Dummies' book at my library were little help). My parents are both in collage, we have little money. So here is the problem; my little bro plays on Xbox Live, he often gets excited and yells. We can not afford the wireless adapter so he is connect directly to the router in the living room. He bugs us with his yelling and we bug him by hitting him and yelling 'SHUT UP!' in his ear. All of us (including himself) want him out of the living room and in his room, which is just across the living room.I know nothing about housing either so I have no idea how to describe this properly. If I sat in his chair that was facing north, his room is a few feet southeast. Is there some sort of long cord that can connect the Xbox to the router from his bedroom? Our price range is about $30.What cord does my brother need?
is this a joke topic? What cord does my brother need?
You can buy already made cable such as this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812105312 (that one is 100 ft., you can look around for more), or you can buy boxes of cable which are a lot cheaper and you get more cable, but you have to put the end-piece on by yourself and that can be REALLY annoying sometimes.
I hope not, but i had a feeling lol.
:( No, this is not a joke topic.

So that cord will work? And it doesn't have to be a Microsoft cord? We found this 50ft Xbox cord for exactly $30.
that cord will work or just go to a gamestop, radio shack, circit city, best buy, or any compurter store and look around for a long enough ethernet cable. you wont find one over 30 bucks
u just need to buy a ethernet cable to plug from the router to the xbox 360. u just need a long one. they are farely cheap compared to the wireless adapter that microsoft charges $100 for it. u can always try to buy one on ebay for cheap.
All you need is an ethernet cord, doesn't matter if it's Xbox branded
