CoD Modern warfare 2, NO CO-OP confirmed

I was just looking up details on the new CoD trailer and came across an interview, which states there will be no CO-OP story mode, but small CO-OP spin offs like zombies here the link.In my opinion i think this is bullcrap, WHY don't they put co-op in, I was really hoping that they would include it. CoD5 did but you couldn't get half the achievements so that ruined it. I mean i'm not saying it's hard, because i've completed both (CoD 4 %26 5) on veteran (Just saying to clarify) but i think there SHOULD be CO-OP...thats made my decision of not buying the game already.http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/game-types/shooter/modern-warfare-2-more-open-ended-detailed-and-longer-than-cod4-$1295085.htmCoD Modern warfare 2, NO CO-OP confirmed
Yeh, hes right

Having no co-op making me not even want to pay $60 for it when it comes out.. Takes alot of fun out the game..

graphics still might be sicker thoughCoD Modern warfare 2, NO CO-OP confirmed
To me, I'd rather have smaller campaigns that are focused on coop rather than a single player with coop just tacked on.
CO-OP is fun....but it doesnt make the game...IMOI would have liked to see it in this game but it is no biggie that they left it out
Why are you butthurt over co-op? You're not buying the game because it's missing that mode? It says there will be co-op but in the form of special missions like Mile High club on COD 4. Most people aren't buying this for co-op
Fair enough. Co-op back in my day, we had to wait till the first player dies. Now that was co-op. No wait... that was 2nd player since there was no co-operation going on there, wait...where was I at and what was I talking about?!
there will be co-op but not in single player, there will be another mode called ''special forces'' mode that will be co-op and feature missions like the mile high club
Pretty lame.
the story, I feel, would be better with you alone. Though it wouldnt hurt if your friends can join in.
If IW said it won't fit into the story then I trust them. I wasn't really planning on playing the campaign cooperatively anyways. COD4 had some missions where co-op might work but there were so many parts where co-op just couldn't fit into the campaign properly without screwing the story.
I'm not gonna lie, after reading that article, I'm even more excited for this game. How could you pass this up over CO-OP? It will still feature CO-OP just not on such a large scale. I'm really excited for this game.
well, lets just say that because theres no coop shouldnt be a reason not to buy the game. id rather have an amazing campaign without coop than a good one with coop. im sure the game is going to end up fantastic. glad to hear theres going to be a zombie mode (if thats what the OP was referring to. i havent read it myself). the only thing i really, really hope for is no online achievements and not another mile high club -type achievement. those be my wishes
Don't worry fellas, you'll probably have the opportunity to pay for it in the form of DLC on launch day :P
idc. if they said the story dont work with it thats fine. the reason i dont care is because campaigns are only 10hrs long. 2: the only type of signle players i will ever play more then once is an rpg. in a game thats not a rpg i want more of the time spent in the muiltplayer where i'am going spend more of my time at and where i'm going get my moneys worth. in a 10hr story is not where i'm going get my 60 dollars worth from.
I hate the fact Briggs got killed in COD4

Who cares? Co op in Waw was good but it was nothing that people kept with.

That's what happens when you send SAS for a Navy Seal job.
That's fine. CoD series never seemed like a Co-op type of game to me anyways. I haven't tried CoD WAW Co-op, cept the zombie thing, so it doesn't bother me.
