So it's my understanding that you can't use Xbox Live whilst playing an Xbox Original game.. so why exactly do they have co-op games (like Splinter Cell) on the marketplace? Surely playing through a stealth game that requires planning, with a real person over Xbox Live, without the ability to talk is pretty pointless?I have yet to play co-op, so forgive me if there is an in-game chat function. Is that the case, or do you have to play it silently if you want to play?Xbox Originals/Xbox Live?
No because you have to XBOX Live that is WITHIN the game. Hence you have to use the menus within the game to do your XBL business
With 360 games, XBL is integrated into the system itself, with original XBOX games, developers had to implement it themselves.
