Well, I don't know if it qualifies as Fallout 4, but isn't there some thing that says the next Fallout installment will take place in Las Vegas? Not sure, but I got pretty excited when I heard there was another Fallout in the works (potentially).

Only Halo 4 and Fallout 4 really stand out to me at least. I am probably anticipating Fallout 4 the most because i want to see what the original developers can do to the series.

Rainbow 6 Las Vegas 1
I can't rank up in R6V1 for some reason. After I finish a match and I go to check my rank nothing happens. It sometimes switches between Staff Seargent and now it's been Private First Class for a while. I was just wondering if this is a glitch or if someone knows how to fix it. No, I don't think so. Unless you can do it accidently; it's just that I can't rank up for instance I just finsihed a attack and defend on casino and those little red bars haven't gone up. Can I reset my guy and just go up thru the ranks again?
The red bars don't go up. It's the bar in the middle of the screen that is supposed to go up. The red ones become full when you complete the center one. I'm pretty sure that's how the ranking system worked. Long time since I played it though.

it looks rather promising. i belief infinity ward wont dissapoint, because they never did. hopefully they keep the 4 player split-screen, which is one of the reasons why i like the cod games. i dont really ming the graphics even though it's not the best i've seen. i don't really understand why people keep bashing the graphics, it's not too neccessary in a video game.

Fallout 3 is my favorite game right now, but I took Oblivion back to gamestop in 4 days last year. You definitly will not get everything out of the game if you rent it. Its more of purchase game like Fallout. You do have to remember that this game was released in 2006, so its not going to be 2008/2009 standards. Wait for Elder's Scrolls 5 for that. Also for the remake about how you think they sound corny. There was only like 6 different voice actors so of course its not going to sound perfect.

i cant stand the game anymore but it was fun while it lasted (which was a long time)if ur like me you may find the game really boring after playing fallout 3

Now, I don't know if you playedOblivion before or after you played fallout 3 the first time. I played Oblivion when it first came out and fell in love. I guess what I mean to say is, when you walked out of that sewer for the first time and saw all that world just waiting to be explored however you want to. If you didn't love it right then and there, I really don't think you ever will.

For a game, I really need a strong storyline to lead me and side quest has to have something to do with the main storyline to keep me motivated. Free roaming is just not my thing. So I gave up. After playing fallout 3 and loving it, I feel that maybe I should give it another try, so this time I bought the strategy guild and the game. Still, somehow just don't have the motivation, the game world doesn't really pulls me in, I don't feel attached, and there's no ''necessity'' or a sense of ''emergency'' for my action, the world doesn't looks like it's coming to an end if I don't do something about it. I know it's kind of cheesy...but I sort of need to feel related to the game world to ''fall in'' to a RPG game.Fallout 3 is kind of different than Oblivion. Although in Fallout 3 you didn't really end up doing anything to ''save'' the world from total destruction, the game successfully makes you care about your father during the very first couple of hours. I didn't like it at all....was expecting more of a ''city'' themed slow walking stupid zombies kinda thing like dude above me said but just played it for a few minutes then gave it back to my buddy.
Anyone who fell in love with RE4 thought RE5 was weak.
It was mediocre at best, was expecting more outta RE5 but after I beat it the first time I saw no replay value in it. The game didn't even have that scary feel to it, I was really let down by the road they took with the enemies in this one, oh well. Cheers to RE6

I really liked Resident Evil 5. I thought the whole African setting was really cool, and the graphics and sounds were amazing. Plus I really liked the unlimited ammo, figurines idea, mercenaries mode, and verses mode. I don't see anything wrong with the game, but thats just me.
After my first playthrough on RE5 I felt that RE4 was overall better but once I started getting infinite ammo and stuff I would have to change opinion slightly and say RE4 had a better story but RE5 has a lot more action. So it just depends on what you're more interested in a good story or lots and lots of fast-paced action.
EDIT- Sorry, I kept adding to my post, lol.

As long as you have a mic and Live I say go for it.
Xbox Live is a must for this game, and if you have a couple buddys who have it, you should have this game. One of the most fun experiences you will have with a Team FPS, Versus, Survival and Campaign modes can keep you and your buddys hooked. I play this game alot myself. I don't regret buying it one bit.

Definately, especially if played with people you know. Plus added in a new multiplayer mode(survival)... for free. And there is also versus mode which pits 4 humans vs 4 special zombies on each campaign(and alternates so can be on either side)
Yes, it's worth buying. The game is fun as hell, and more than any of the other Zombies games out there it'll scare the crap out of you. It's a must buy if you have a good group of XBL friends that want to play.

Well I'd say the biggest thing going against the game is that it constantly reuses it's content across all modes. The four campaigns combined only take about four hours to complete. The reason to replay campaign isnt much different than any other campaign I've played. You can try to beat it on higher difficulties and get other achievements.
The game has an ai director that changes the spawn locations of enemies, weapons and health packs, but I can't really say it changes the experience that much. Everything tends to spawn in the same general area, or close to it. And since all but one zombie fights in close quarters, no matter where they spawn it's not going change the experience much.
The versus mode is pretty much the campaign mode. The big difference being that you and another team take turns being infected and survivors. You may start off being the survivors and you'll start the next round as the infected once you've either made it to the safe house or if the enemy team manages to kill you all before you make it there. It's pretty fun to play as the infected, but if you've already played the campaign the multiplayer will likely feel familiar enough to where it wont last you too long.
Then theres the free downloadable mode, Survival. If you've played Gears of War 2's Horde mode or Call of Duty World at War's Nazi zombie mode then you'll likely be immediately familiar with Survival's premise. You basically survive as long as you can against waves of zombies. Unlike Horde or Nazi Zombie mode though, Survival is unrelenting. You'd be lucky to survive even five minutes. That considered that really kills the replayability of the mode for many. I mean, what the point when you'll be done almost as soon as you start. All but one of Survival modes maps are just chopped up pieces of the campaign levels.
Unless you have friends who regularly play the game I can't really recommend it. It's not a game that you should play alone as it require a cooperative team. And you wont play it much if your friends don't play it much and I can't recommend something thats so low on content if you arent going to play it much. Might as well throw you're money out the window.

Xbox Live is a must for this game, and if you have a couple buddys who have it, you should have this game. One of the most fun experiences you will have with a Team FPS, Versus, Survival and Campaign modes can keep you and your buddys hooked. I play this game alot myself. I don't regret buying it one bit.

Definately, especially if played with people you know. Plus added in a new multiplayer mode(survival)... for free. And there is also versus mode which pits 4 humans vs 4 special zombies on each campaign(and alternates so can be on either side)
Yes, it's worth buying. The game is fun as hell, and more than any of the other Zombies games out there it'll scare the crap out of you. It's a must buy if you have a good group of XBL friends that want to play.

Well I'd say the biggest thing going against the game is that it constantly reuses it's content across all modes. The four campaigns combined only take about four hours to complete. The reason to replay campaign isnt much different than any other campaign I've played. You can try to beat it on higher difficulties and get other achievements.
The game has an ai director that changes the spawn locations of enemies, weapons and health packs, but I can't really say it changes the experience that much. Everything tends to spawn in the same general area, or close to it. And since all but one zombie fights in close quarters, no matter where they spawn it's not going change the experience much.

And i learned that 2K has hired another development team to take care of the MP, Digital Extremes.What does this mean? 2K will not be diverting any of their attention from their SP, which means the gam will in no way suffer from the addition of MP. So the uproar since the announcment of the MP addition can now be put to rest, as there is nothing to lose but a lot to potentially gain.Also, Digital Extremes has a fairly solid resume concerning MP games. At least I will unlock the ''Graduation'' achievement after doing that.In actuality, I'm procrastinating and dabbed a little in Portal and TF2 since I just picked up the Orange Box. That and I've been trying to play more with my COD4 clan at night.
I'm currently playing Mirror's Edge and The Darkness. Got Bioshock waiting for me after I've completed these.

Hunt TC Mercs, give stuff that you find to the Outcasts, they give you 5.56 ammo and stimpaks, and buy stuff at places like Tempenny Tower and Little Lamplight. Make sure you have that child perk, so you get the Wazer Wifle. And, there is a sniper rifle behind Megaton, and one to the east of Tenpenny Tower near a bunch of ghouls. And get Blackhawk (look it up).

profile help!!!!!
So I have played and beaten Fallout 3 with out ever connecting to Xbox live. Now I am wanting to download the expansion packs so I started an Xbox live account. If I change my gamertag it is going to make me sign in using a different account than I beat the game on...Example: I beat the game on ''adam'' now my gamer tag is ''axelray10'' for the xbox live account. Am I going to have to start the whole game over under axelray10 or can I use what I have already done under ''adam'' to play the expansion packs. Please help with this.profile help!!!!!
I'm pretty sure you will have to start a new game seeing as you save files will be on your first one. You could always transfer the save file though (at least I think). profile help!!!!!

Charger won't charge.
So my (pelican) charger allows me to use my controller. I have rechargeable batteries in the pack. However, It will not charge.Do I need some kind of different bat. pack or something?

sacred 2 comes out on may 12, but reviews for the pc version were meh, and ports between console/pc tend to have a negative affect on quality...

Fallout 3 Expansion Help!!!
So don't hate on me too bad guys but here goes...once I download the expansion how do I play it? When I go to ''downloads'' it shows ''Fallout 3: Operation: Anchorage'' but I can't select it. What am I doing wrong? My cursor will go over it but when I hit ''A'' or start it doesn't do anything.Fallout 3 Expansion Help!!!

oblivion problem (?)
So I was playing Oblivion the other day and the game froze. Now I thought 'whatever' since my xbox sounds like a jet taking off anyway. But that night I put Fallout in and played it for an hour or 2 and it worked like a charm. So then I played some Madden. Again, worked awesome. So this morning I decided to try Oblivion out again, and it still froze after about 10 minutes. I looked at the disk and there's not a scratch on it and the xbox seems to be working with other games. Does anyone know why this might be happening or any cures for this problem? Thanks.oblivion problem (?)

I think it might be your disc buddy. My Fight Night Round 3 did that brand new and at best buy he said, it might be worn out on the inside. SO who knows? I dont.
it is quick access memory of stuff that has been recently loaded. say if u walk inside a house and then walk straight back out, chances are there is no loading time. thats due to the cache

They have announced a new Ghost Recon. Just no release date, or title.
GRAW 3 has been announced for 2010, and they said another rainbow six will not be out before GRAW 3.
They need to make a RB6 that doesn't have the lag, and maybe improve the physics a bit cause throwing a grenade looks like your just threw a cinder block. You know that stuff that you really want to play isn't going to come out for a long while. Thats just our luck as gamers.
i wish i didnt sell graw 2 also, and i wish they could recreate how amazing the old xbox ghost recons were. what i like about graw 2 was all the maps - like embassy they brought back, classic! i sold it bc there were few servers and a lot of lag, but when i first got an xbox, all i played was graw 2 for months, i miss it...

Weapons systems - peoples preference...
Hi - just wondering what kinds of weapons systems people prefer.....There is the multi-system such as in Bioshock and Half Life 2 - where you are able to carry (and select) a large number of weapons - but surely you must think it is not particularly realistic as I'm sure you can't carry all of them......although it does offer easy variety and means when ammo is low you can just switch to another....Or there is the limited selection system (I guess you could call it) where you can only carry a certain number of weapons - such as CoD, Halo etc (ie: one in each hand - or a hand gun and a larger gun etc) and you have to swap for other wapons that are lying about if you want another......probably more realistic but can be difficult when ammo gets low....I know Obilivion uses a 'weight system' where you can only carry up to a certain weight......thoughts or opinions?:)Weapons systems - peoples preference...
I like the way farcry 2 does it.A machete and three other weapons.Also if you pick old guns up they can break,similar to F3 and stalker.But then again i sometimes like the ability to carry alot of different weapons at the same time.But farcy 2 makes you stick with the guns you choose and hope for the best.Weapons systems - peoples preference...
I like the system that Fallout 3 uses, the weight system. It makes things more realistic and interesting. It forces you to make tactical decisions on which weapons and armor and health equipment to carry.
Team Fortress 2 easily because it makes you choose your class and you can't change weapons. Each one has its own weapons and for the most part they are varied. Though if i had to choose a small selection or a big one i choose a small amount otherwise you can get way too many kills. I remember on Unreal tournament 3 you can hold a lot of weapons and if you got around their respawns you can slaughter everyone i remember getting like 15 kills because they started out with those pistol things.

Madden in multiplayer is the only one I can think of. Cause even though I almost always win, I getcompetitiveas who knows what with anything sports related. I like cuss and scream when I throw an interception lol.

For me it's Gears of War 2. Seriously i can't play the multiplayer without being pissed all the time.
Definately Gears of Wars 2, perhaps COD 4 on the side, though I do well enough to avoid losing a match.

Probably Super Smash Brothers for 64. I got banned from using Pikachu in most games by my friends, because they never stood a chance against him. Plus myfirst college roommate only ever used one character and simply sucked with anyone else, so when we would all go random we would give him so much crap for notgoing random, especially when we still won. One time he even went to choke me after I gave him such a hard time, but another friend stepped in front real fastand the guy's hands went around his neck instead.For online, probably the worst was Medal of Honor: Spearhead, specifically on forums and in leagues. In one league I knew every little rule, so we were able to manipulate settings in a match or two to my clan's favor or we were able to cancel some matches that didn't go quite so well. On forums, I loved to argue, and I always nitpicked little sayings and details that worked to my favor.
I think the two games that bring out the worst in me, in a mentally sadistic way, is Grand Theft Auto 4 and Hitman: Contracts.I always enjoy inGTA 4, going to the top of small apartment complexes and sniping innocent bystanders until the cops come, and then hitting them with a hail of RPG's and grenades...until I decide to leave by attemptingshoot my way out with the tactical shotgun, or running out with a live grenade in my hand and going out with a bang, taking atleast a dozen police officers with me. I enjoy this thoroughly. Also, in Hitman, if youve ever played, is rather fun because you can either do things the stealthy way so nobody sees you enter or leave, or completely slaughter EVERYBODY including your target so nobody knows what the hell happened, and you still pass the mission. In one mission, theres three people you have to take out in a rather large Hotel...and theres atleast a hundred or so AI controlled guards and innocents walking aorund at the same time. Going in a killing EVERYBODY is really fun, especially watching people run for their lives only to be gunned down by dual uzis or something dramatic like that. So in that way...those games bring out the crazy serial killer side of me...but hey...if these games didnt exist...I might just go out and do it myself...but this way satisfies my bloodlust just fine...haha. Sorry if I creep you out. but I think this is why these games are made in the first place.

I am so glad this topic was made. I have just spent the last hour and a half trying to play a game that a previously gave up on. That game is Assassins Creed. It is easily the worst first 2 hours of ANY game EVER made. Epically ''AAA'' titles. And after that it doesn't get any better. This game makes my skin crawl. From it horrible controls to how bad the story is and how they made it Sci Fi. For some reason i cannot turn off the tips and hints that pop up in my screen. i turned everything off, it still comes up. Game makes me almost sick to my stomach because i get so mad at it.other then that horrendous game, COD 4 brings out a mean side in me. But only to team killers. I HATE team killers.

It sounds pretty awesome, and will definitely be different from the first one. In case you haven't heard about it, here are the new features:-Takes place in 1476 in Venice, Italy-The character's name is Ezio Auditore de Firenze, also an ancestor of Desmond Miles-The numerous water canals of Venice can be used as hiding spots, or places to drown your targets-Many historical figures from Renaissance era Italy will be in the game, such as Da Vinci and Machiavelli.-Notoriety system like the Hitman series-Sixteen different types of missions-More weapon selection such as axe, hammer, mace, spear, sword, halberd, and hidden blades. The weapon you have equipped will determine the tactics you need to use for combat.-More sophisticated combat such as being able to disarm enemies-Use of da Vinci's flying machine-Night and day cyclePersonally, it's definitely a step up from the first one, and it could be an excellent game if executed properly. i got the game informer featuring assassin's creed 2 the other week at gamestop with my gamer card thing, so i got to see everything in detail, im so excited for this game! canrt wait.

Sure the first one got repetitive from city to city, but doesn't familiarity build content?I loved every minute of the first one and will be picking up the second incarnation.

I have not received a Game Informer since I got the free 1 year subscription when I got my PS3 (It came with the Bioshock 2 cover one). I did see a friends AC2 one and some some pretty sweet pics and read some good things about this game. I can't wait for it to come out, it looks some much more fun than the first one. Maybe we will even get replayability!

The newstand price is pretty high, two magazines a yeah would almost pay for a years subscription.
I was a subscriber and then I stopped. They sent me advertisements to get to subscribe again. I held out until they offered 2 years for $24. The only thing is I don't get the game discs, but most of the stuff is on XBL anyway.
I like it. Been a subscription holder for almost 2 years. Something about being able to sit back in my ez-chair and read up on my favorite hobby without staring at a TV or monitor makes me happy.

They changed the review scale to 0.5, which is something I really hate about this site as well, and they handed out perfect scores to average games like Fight Night Round 3. The demo disk had demos on it that would come out months before hand on the Market place, and the ''Galaxy'' thing they made such a big deal about was amazingly pointless. I unsubscribed, and I really doubt that OXM will last much longer.

It has some neat cover stories here and there, but I mostly got it for the discs.
And, lately there's nothing really great on them.

You activated the quests right?
pretty sure DLC is directly linked to the xbox you dled it on, that or the account
this is how arcade games and dlc works.
when you buy premium content, or even download free add ons for your games along with the content it downloads a licence for the use offline. this licence is linked directly to the xbox it was purchased on.
if you buy it online, then go offline it will work, but only on the original console.
if you buy it online, put the hard disc in a different xbox then you will need to online and logged into live to play because the offline licence will be thinking this isnt the xbox thats bought the content.
search on xbox.com for the DRM tool. its a website that can transfer the licences over.

this is how arcade games and dlc works.

Is the Saint's Row 2 DLC worth getting?
So I noticed that Saint's Row 2 has its first DLC now, but my question is... is it worth getting? My primary interest with SR2 has been and ends with the campaign/story. It was the campaign and the fun that I had with the game that then compelled me to go from rental to buying the Collector's Edition copy. :oIs the Saint's Row 2 DLC worth getting?

cant connect to ea servers
im having a problem playing any ea game on xbox 360 but i can play online just fine on ps3 dont know why please help..thank you.cant connect to ea servers

Well I got it free when my girlfriend got the phone from the film, and to be honest it's not worth much more. I'd give it about a 6 and that's pretty generous, but hey it'll be a good laugh for a rental, just make sure you crank up the difficulty to make the guns feel a bit more 'punchy'.

i really dont hear ppl talking about this game, but ive been waiting for a game like sacred 2 to come out for a while. ive always been a huge Balder's gate, and diablo fan so im hoping it will come close or bbe just as good as those gamesanybody else looking forward to sacred 2

The first Sacred sure was a lot like a lame Diablo copy. It was OK to play for a while, but sense -04 RPG games have taken a huge leap forward it isn't easy to get into the big leagues with games like, Oblivion, Fable series etc...But I will surely check out the reviews for the game to know can it step up from it's predecessor.

Call of Duty 4 was known by the world as COD4 like the fish but what are going to call Modern Warfare 2?!It's not got the Call of Duty name so we can't call it COD6 or COD4-2 lol.MOD2 sounds like a PC mod. Far Cry 2 Golden Gun storage
ok so i found a sweeet golden ak does this unlock them on the wall in the armory or do i have to keep it forever/store it in the crates because i went through the trouble of finding it but i like using other weapons so what do i do to be able to keep it without always having it equipped or in my crateFar Cry 2 Golden Gun storage

They are all over the map. I've found three of them, but they don't seem to do anything special. Anybody know what special properties the golden guns have?
Golden AK-47s won't jam. As far as I know if you put it down you lose it so I guess you should just keep it in your Primary Weapon Box.

What I use to do is to let the golden AK47 inside the crate ( cus I didn't see on the wall at the armory ), and if I want a different gun, like a sniper, I get 'em in the armory, and I keep in hands until I need to go to any safe house to get my golden AK47, because the golden is more difficult to find than to go to any armory and get 'em on the wall. isn't?

I know it's been a long time, and maybe no one will read this anymore, but I tested all possibilities and there's no other way to carry the gold AK. Or you use it as your primary weapon, or you stock in your crate in the safe houses, if you change for another weapon and left the AK in the ground, You'll lose this weapon.It can't be found in the Armory storage. And when I left my AK in my safe house's floor, It disappeared after some gameplay time, then I went to the same place I found the AK, and it was empty, so if you want another one, you'll have to go to another hidden gold AK's place.I really prefer other weapons than the AK, so I did that just for curiosity. I think it's a better strategy to carry a sniper rifle with a secondary submachine gun, or a granade launcher MGL-140 with other secondary preferred weapon, so you'll be able to engage enemies in a far safe distance or in close-quarter combats.But for you that loves the AK, here goes my combination for that:Primary: gold AK-47 ( for close and medium range)Secondary: granade launcher M-79 ( isn't so efective as the MGL-140, but helps against vehicles)Special: Dart Rifle (for long range and stealth approach)With this I think all of the combat types were filled. 1. Go fight in the arena (you make gold this way, too).2. Everywhere you go jump around all the time and swim in the water when you can.3. Go find trainers and pay them to increase your skills.
Well, one way is to go to peryite's shrine and kill the immortals repeatedly -- but you get no bounty. However,this can skrew up you game from an overload of unreported crimes.
I know one for magic just keep casting the spell when you run out of magic rest for 1 hour then keep casting and keep repeating i know its tedious but my friend got to 100 destruction by doing it.

buy the stronghold dcl or w/e its called then get the trainer in the basement to fight you. that helped me get to a lvl 49.
I got my hand to hand up by punching this one zombie until it was almost dead then running away to a nearby bed and sleeping. Rinse, wash, repeat. Tedious but it gets the job done.
Probably the one thing I disliked about oblivion was the leveling system. Still a tight game. Just abuse the hell out of different abilities. Jump, run, punch, fire arrows and magic, heavily use stealth. My character, aside from the magic, had a balance in it's abilities.

A couple of Halo questions.
I'm playing combat evolved and I have a couple questions.1. Does health regenerate? It seems like it does (when my health is low and I hide out for a couple minutes, it goes back up), but I read that it doesn't.2. What do the red cross boxes do? I run over them and nothing seems to happen?A couple of Halo questions.

2. Those red boxes are ''first aid'' kits for your health so that if your low on it it regenerates some of it if you walk over it.

are u new to games at all? cause this is just one question that should not be asked. you usually start a new mission with a different gun, there are some guns that you will get more than others, but it is usually mission dependant....like almost any other FPS ever made

Probably because there were to many instances where a player would engage another, kill them, and lose half their health in the process. That would give whoever has full health a slight advantage.
That player would probably run away too, and who likes people who run away in halo? I sure as hell don't.

When you think about it, the med kits dont fit with using them on an enhanced soldier like masterchief. I can see where the med kits fit in HALO:ODST with the human characters.

I am new to FPS's. The only other FPS I have played was BioShock, and in that game, the weapon I was using didn't disappear at the end of the level. I thought I would have to manually switch weapons rather than it automatically doing it.And thanks to everyone who were helping in answering my questions and not being rude!

Motion Sickness??
Whenever I play any of the Guitar Hero games I get really dizzy and nauseous, but I can play Rock Band for hours and not get sick. I was wondering if this happens to anyone else and why I get sick playing Guitar Hero and not RockbandMotion Sickness??
I happens to me something horrible, but I'm blind in my right eye so my depth perception is so messed up. Try some Dramamine (sp) though. It helps for a couple of hours. You can get it from almost any drug store. Motion Sickness??

I wish there was something out there to fix this. It's a pain when trying to play FPS or Guitar Hero (which I can't play more than 1 minute of).
